The season final between Xapso and Anexis started on de_tuscan, which became an intense encounter between the two sides, with Xapso able to edge out the victory in the very last round of the regular thirty rounds, winning 16-14.
On second map de_inferno Xapso continued with solid play and especially Morten "coloN" Johansen delivered solid play. Xapso had a 11-4 lead after the Terrorists side and the gap was too big for Anexis to close, seeing Xapso win 16-6 and 2-0 overall to win the first DEL season in 2012.
